Students join U.S. military honored at Salute Dinner

Students from area high schools entering different branches of the U.S. Armed Forces were honored at the 14th Annual Salute Dinner in May at the Bristol Elks Lodge 1010.

The event held by Veterans Strong Community Center and the Bristol Veterans Council recognized the following students: Hailey Bryant, Bristol Central High School, CT National Guard; Nick Grabowy, BCHS, U.S. Navy; James John Rinaldi, St. Paul Catholic High School, CT National Guard; Kathryn Voisine, BCHS, U.S. Navy; Aiden Collins, Lewis Mills High School, U.S. Marine Corps.

Unable to attend were the following: Angel Lopez Lugo, BCHS, U.S. Army; Courtney Watson, Bristol Eastern High School, U.S. Air Force; Samuel Dinh, LMHS, and Jacob Kazimierczak, Plainville High School, U.S. Navy.
