Free summer meals for kids and teens under 18 years available at four sites in Bristol

Breakfast and lunch are available free at four locations in Bristol as part of the End Hunger CT! statewide summer meals program.

Monday through Friday breakfast will be available from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Bristol Central High School, 480 Wolcott St.
  • West Bristol School, 500 Clark Ave.
  • Bristol Public Library, 5 High St.
  • Cambridge Park, 11 Quaker Ln.

End Hunger CT! works with sponsoring organizations to promote the program which is administered by the Connecticut Department of Education and provides no-cost, nutritious meals to children aged 18-and-under through Aug. 16.

The sponsoring organization in Bristol is the Bristol School District. No ID is required. No questions asked. Eat on-site and meals-to-go meals are available.

The Bristol Edition will be limiting the number of stories non-members and free readers may access each week. This decision is based on our financial projections and, most certainly, to remind people that TBE is serious about providing accurate, timely and thorough reporting for Bristol. To do this we have devised a financial support structure that makes unlimited access extremely affordable, beginning with a $6 monthly donation.                

  • Non-members will be able to access four (4) articles per week.                
  • Free readers and people who have subscribed by email will be able to access four (4) articles per week.                
  • Donors and financial supporters will have unlimited access as long as they log in.
