The Bristol American Legion baseball team has been swinging hot bats in the last couple of weeks, and they repeated their offensive performance from Monday night again on Wednesday against Simsbury for the second game in a row, winning impressively, 10-4 at Muzzy Field.

Bristol knocked out eleven hits and scored ten runs against Simsbury’s pitching staff.

Brian Grabowski went 3 for 3 with two RBI’s, while Jose Feliciano had two hits, including a double, to pace the Bristol attack. Jedric Sutula added two RBI’s to the offense as seven Bristol batters collected hits in the game.

Bristol’s win was their sixth in a row and is now 11-6 on the season, and they moved to within 2 and 1/2 games of first place West Hartford, who lost their second game of the year last night.

Bristol next travels to Torrington for an 11:00 a.m. start on Saturday at Fuessenich Park.
