Summer concert series on Tuesday evening features funk, soul, jam band

Tonight’s Rockin’ Out at Rockwell summer concert features Gideon King & City Blog, a funk, soul, jam band, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Rockwell amphitheater.

Attendees are encouraged to bring family and friends, blankets and chairs, and to grab dinner at one of the food trucks, organized by the West End Association. The 2024 concert series is sponsored by the West End Association, Xfinity, Thomaston Savings Bank and RV Enterprise LLC.

Below is the lineup for the series:

  • July 16 – Larry Stevens Band (Rock n’ Roll, Adult Contemporary)
  • July 23 – Soul Sound Revue (Motown)
  • July 30 – The Speakers (Danceable Funk-Rock)
  • Aug. 6 – Spirit Shaker (Hard Rock, 70’s 80’s 90’s)
  • Aug. 13 – Latanya Farrell (Soul/R&B)

The free weekly concerts will continue Tuesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Amphitheater at Rockwell Park through Aug. 13.

The 2024 concert series is sponsored by the West End Association, Xfinity, Thomaston Savings Bank and RV Enterprise LLC.
