Tonight’s Rockin’ Out at Rockwell concert postponed until tomorrow evening

Tonight’s Rockin’ Out at Rockwell summer concert featuring Spirit Shaker has been postponed until tomorrow evening, Wednesday, Aug. 8, it was announced by Bristol Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services.

Spirit Shaker is a hard rock band that covers music from the 70s, 80s and 90s. The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to bring family and friends, blankets and chairs, and to grab dinner at one of the food trucks, organized by the West End Association. Wednesday’s fare is Greenhouse Tavern & Cafe, Dem Boys Grill and Rich Farm Ice Cream.

The free weekly concerts continue Tuesday nights from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Amphitheater at Rockwell Park through Aug. 13. On the last evening of the series, local favorite Latanya Farell with be featured with soul/and R&B.

The 2024 concert series is sponsored by the West End Association, Xfinity, Thomaston Savings Bank and RV Enterprise LLC.
