This evening’s Joint Meeting of the City Council and the Board of Finance will be preceded by the swearing in of the newest member of the city council, Democrat Mark Dickau, at 6:15 p.m. Dickau was the top vote getter in the recent special election in the Third District to fill a seat left vacant after the resignation of Republican Andrew Howe.
Meetings on the city calendar for today, Wednesday, Aug. 14, are the following:
