Top brewers will be on hand at the 2nd annual Brewfest beginning today, Friday, Sept. 6, and continuing Saturday, Sept. 7 at Muzzy Field. The event is sponsored by the Central CT Chambers of Commerce.

The event kicks off Friday evening with the nationally-acclaimed “The Dave Matthews Tribute Band for a special concert. Several of the breweries will be in attendance at the show.

On Saturday, there will be a day-long celebration with live music and food trucks.

The inaugural BrewFest included Alvarium, Back East, Bad Dog Brewing, Clocktown, Deep Eddy Cocktails, Dogfish Head, DownEast, Evening Sky, GameDay Seltzer, Jack Daniel’s Canned Cocktails, Little Red Barn Brewers, Long Drink, Litchfield Distillery, Monaco Canned Cocktails, New England Brewing Co., New England Cider Co., Samuel Adams, Stateside, Still Hill, Stormalong, Transcend and Whalers.
