Autumn has a Pokemon charm all its own

Hello Trainers!

As autumn rolls in, Pokémon GO continues to captivate players with exciting events and updates. Here’s a roundup of the latest news for Pokémon GO fans in Bristol:

Pokémon GO October 2024 events schedule is here, and October brings more Pokémon from the Galar region as we enter the second month of the Max Out Season!

The Galarian Expedition brings with it shiny Zamazenta, and the debut of the shiny Galarian Legendary birds! On Oct. 4, get ready for new Daily Adventure Incense, and a new chance to get the elusive birds! It also brings the debut of Shadow Heatran and new Shadow Pokémon (Shadow Caterpie, Mankey, Roggenrola, Venipede, Karrablast and Shelmet), from Oct. 8 at 12 a.m. to Oct. 11, at 8 p.m.

For the raids, here are Pokémon and the times for each listed below, along with their locations:

Times

  • Mega Gardevoir, Sept. 26 – Oct. 4
  • Zacian, Sept. 26 – Oct. 4

Locations

  • Federal Hill Green, 33 Queen St.
  • Page Park, 651 King St.
  • Rockwell Park, 238 Jacobs St.

Raid Hours take place every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. This is the perfect chance to get out there and catch yourself a Legendary Pokémon.

From Thursday, Sept. 26, at 10 a.m. to Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 8 p.m., experience the Legendary Heroes event, with Shiny Zacian debuting, and special branching research that affects your incense spawns.

A new Special Research story, “Galar Calling,” with branching paths will be available to Trainers! Throughout Pokémon GO: Max Out, you’ll be able to reach new heights with your chosen partner Pokémon.

Depending on which partner Pokémon you choose, your Postcard Book background will change to celebrate your choice!

You can claim this Special Research at no cost from Tuesday, Sept. 3, at 10 a.m. to Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 9:59 a.m.

October Community Day features Sewaddle, the Sewing Pokémon! Players have the chance to encounter Shiny Sewaddle in the wild. Sewaddle Community Day takes place on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

LASTLY, during October 2024, Zacian, Zamazenta, Giratina Origin Forme and Darkrai will be available during different time periods. Zacian and Zamazenta can be shiny for the first time in Pokémon GO!

Also, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Blaziken, Mega Sableye and Mega Banette raid bosses will be available in Pokémon GO’s Mega Raids at different times. All of them can be Shiny.
