All are welcome — Saturday at this year’s Mum Festival in pictures

The main stage was busy all through the day on Saturday. | Ron Tessman

Bristol photographer Ron Tessman of BristolCT.net spent Mum Festival weekend slinging his Nikon camera from event to event and capturing some photos for the ages–all ages including one of grandpa lending a hand with some arts and crafts, another of that ride on a horse–or a hay wagon, how about that petting zoo and what about a photo with some pirates.

Well, if we try this, it might work, perhaps? | Ron Tessman

And then, perhaps, this is under control, when it comes to riding a four-legged friend, but then why not let someone else do the driving and what is a bunch of goats called, anyhow? | Ron Tessman

Between the slide and lines, someone has to decide what’s next. | Ron Tessman

Arrr, matey, smile for the camera; a little music on a perfect night while the crowds ebb and flow with more and more people. | Ron Tessman

All TBE readers, supporters and donors

The Bristol Edition will be limiting the number of stories non-members and free readers may access each week. This decision is based on our financial projections and, most certainly, to remind people that TBE is serious about providing accurate, timely and thorough reporting for Bristol. To do this we have devised a financial support structure that makes unlimited access extremely affordable, beginning with a $6 monthly donation.

  • Non-members will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Free readers and people who have subscribed by email will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Donors and financial supporters will have unlimited access as long as they log in.

Note: Donors may have to contact TBE if they find they are being limited, since we will need to set up a membership account for you. Email editor@bristoledition.org for instructions. Sorry for any inconvenience. People with financial difficulties may write editor@bristoledition.org to be considered for free access.
