The West Cemetery Lantern Tours will be held today and tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 5 and 6, starting every 20 minutes beginning at 6 p.m. The guided tours through West Cemetery feature cemetery “residents” in period dress, who will share some of their history.

Reservations for the tours are required and can be made online via Sign Up Genius, by clicking here or by emailing president@bristolhistoricalsociety.org.

The rain date for both days is Oct. 12. Those who have registered will be notified by email and the change will be posted on the BHS website and Facebook page. Suggestion donation for the tours is $10.

The Bristol Edition will be limiting the number of stories non-members and free readers may access each week. This decision is based on our financial projections and, most certainly, to remind people that TBE is serious about providing accurate, timely and thorough reporting for Bristol. To do this we have devised a financial support structure that makes unlimited access extremely affordable, beginning with a $6 monthly donation.                

• Non-members will be able to access four (4) articles per week.                
• Free readers and people who have subscribed by email will be able to access four (4) articles per week.                
• Donors and financial supporters will have unlimited access as long as they log in.
