Among the city offices and departments closed on Columbus Day, Monday, Oct. 14, are the following:

City hall, public libraries, schools and the transfer station. Curb-side garbage collection will be moved back a day, beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 14, and ending Saturday, Oct. 19.

In addition, the post office will be closed as well as banks.
