Bristol Eastern boys cross country runs to second straight City Championship on Thursday

The Bristol Eastern boys team won the City Championship for the second year in a row on Thursday over Bristol Central and St. Paul at Page Park.

The Lancer’s Jase Koczur won the individual City Championship, as he broke the old course record held by Frankie Porrini (18:21) with an incredible time of 17:59.

The Eastern boys remained undefeated on the year with a record of 8-0. Brendan Tartarelli, Kyle Kelley, Jonathan Casarola, Cole Beland, Aidan Gezelman, Szymon Winiarczyk, and Christian Ferraro rounded out a very strong varsity group for the Lancers.

Eastern and Central boys will return to action next Tuesday at Wickham Park for the Conference Championship!
