Attention, Pokémon GO trainers! Mark your calendars for Saturday, Oct. 12, as Mega Mawile will make its grand debut during a Special Raid Day event from 2 to 5 p.m. This is an event you won’t want to miss, featuring the Deceiver Pokémon in its Mega Evolved form.
What to expect
During this limited-time event, players will have the opportunity to battle and catch Mega Mawile, a Steel and Fairy-type Pokémon boasting a maximum Combat Power (CP) of 2691. With weather boosts from Snow and Cloudy conditions, Mega Mawile will be a formidable opponent, but fear not—bring your strongest Fire-type and Ground-type Pokémon to tip the scales in your favor!
Event highlights
– **Mega Mawile Debut**: Mega Mawile will be available for the first time in Pokémon GO Mega Raids, and trainers will have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Mawile.
– **Raid Bonuses**:
– Players can receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs during the event, for a total of six.
– The Remote Raid limit will increase to 20 from Friday, Oct 11, at 5 p.m. PDT until Saturday, Oct. 12 at 8 p.m. PDT.
Special ticketed bonuses
For those looking to enhance their Raid experience, an event ticket priced at $5 will provide exciting bonuses:
- – Eight additional Raid Passes (for a total of 14).
- – Increased chances to earn Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles.
- – 50 percent more XP and double Stardust from Raid Battles.
These benefits will be active from 2 to 10 p.m., Oct. 12.
Additionally, a Mega Mawile Raid Day Ultra Ticket Box will be available for $4.99, which includes a bonus Premium Battle Pass.

Pokémon GO Halloween 2024: Get Ready for Spooky Fun with Morpeko and Dynamax Gastly!
As Halloween approaches, Pokémon GO trainers in Bristol are in for a treat! The Halloween 2024 event kicks off with Part I, running from Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 10 a.m. to Monday, Oct. 28, at 10 a.m. This year’s festivities bring the spooky vibes back with the debut of Morpeko and the introduction of Dynamax Gastly!

- – **Start:** Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 10 a.m.
- – **End:** Monday, Oct. 28, at 10 a.m.
**Exciting Bonuses:**
- – **Morpeko’s Debut**: Morpeko, the Electric/Dark-type Pokémon, will make its Pokémon GO debut!
- – **Dynamax Battles**: Experience Gastly in one-star Max Battles for the first time.
- – **Double Candy**: Earn 2× Candy for catching Pokémon, with increased chances for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL.
- – **Shiny Encounters**: Look out for increased chances to encounter Shiny Umbreon in raids and Shiny Zorua in the wild.

Meet Morpeko
Morpeko’s unique feature is its ability to switch forms in battle, changing between Full Belly and Hangry modes with the Charged Attack Aura Wheel. This dynamic will introduce new strategies for trainers during Team GO Rocket encounters and in the GO Battle League.
**How to Catch Morpeko:**
- – **Battles**: Morpeko can be obtained from Trainer Battle rewards and will appear frequently in the premium track of the GO Battle League during the event.
- – **Timed Research**: Complete exclusive Timed Research or Field Research tasks for a chance to encounter Morpeko.
- – **Wild Spawns**: Expect to find many spooky Pokémon like Zubat, Spinarak, Murkrow, and more in the wild during this event.
Max battles and raids
In addition to catching Morpeko, trainers can participate in Max Battles featuring Dynamax Gastly. One-star Max Battles will include Gastly and other starter Pokémon, while three-star Max Battles will feature Pokémon like Hisuian Typhlosion and Umbreon.

- – **One-Star Raids**: Sneasel, Sableye, Yamask, and Galarian Yamask.
- – **Three-Star Raids**: Hisuian Typhlosion, Umbreon, and Bombirdier.
Research and rewards
This year’s Halloween event will include various research tasks offering encounters with Pokémon like Spiritomb, Scraggy, and Golett. For just $5, trainers can access event-exclusive Timed Research, which features encounters with Halloween-themed Pokémon and offers a choice of avatar items, including Morpeko Onesies in both forms.
