This Halloween, Pokémon GO is turning up the heat—or perhaps the chills—with its “Max Out Season” extravaganza!

Starting this month, trainers can expect a whirlwind of spooky excitement with the arrival of new Pokémon, epic raids and thrilling battles. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a newcomer, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Let’s break down the key highlights for Bristol Trainers!

Morpeko and Dynamax Gastly Debut!

The Halloween festivities kick off with Part One of the event, introducing Morpeko for the first time in Pokémon GO! Trainers will also be able to encounter a Dynamax version of the mischievous Gastly. But the fun doesn’t stop there—Halloween-themed versions of Rowlet and Froakie will be available, perfect for adding a festive touch to your team.

Gigantamax Pokémon in the GO Bigger Event!

Prepare yourselves, trainers—Gigantamax Pokémon are making their long-awaited debut in Pokémon GO! From Oct. 26 to Oct. 27, iconic Pokémon like Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise will be featured in Max Battles. These towering giants will present some of the toughest challenges Pokémon GO has ever seen. Will you rise to the occasion and catch them?

GO Battle League Season 20: Get Ready for Spooky Showdowns

For those who thrive on battle, the Max Out Season delivers in spades. Season 20 of the GO Battle League launches with new rewards and an exciting lineup of cups and leagues. Beginning Oct. 15, trainers could participate in the Master League and Halloween Cup: Little Edition. By Oct. 22, the Great League Remix and Halloween Cup: Great League Edition will have taken over, offering 4× Stardust rewards for wins!

Spotlight Hour and Raid Hour: Gastly, Giratina, and More!

On Tuesday, Oct. 22, Gastly, Duskull, and Litwick took the stage during Spotlight Hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Trainers might have received double XP for catching Pokémon during this spooky hour.

Starting yesterday, Wednesday, Oct. 23, Giratina’s Origin Forme began appearing in five-star raids during Raid Hour (6 p.m. to 7 p.m). Don’t miss your chance to challenge this ghostly legend alongside Mega Sableye, which will also feature in Mega Raids through Oct. 28.

Chase the Elusive Shiny Shadow Entei!

In the Max Out Season’s Shadow Raids, Shadow Entei makes a dramatic appearance in five-star raids, offering trainers the opportunity to encounter a Shiny Shadow Entei. If you’re feeling lucky, this might just be your moment!
