The Bristol Sports Hall of Fame recently awarded the Bristol Boys and Girls Club a grant totaling $2,500.

The grant funds will be used to grow sports programming at the Boys and Girls Club to give youth the opportunity to diversify into other sports. The goal is to create a larger population of multi-sport athletes in Bristol.

This grant program will help expand the BBGC sports leagues, upgrade equipment, train coaches, integrate life skill programming, and engage in community outreach.

Hall of Fame Board members presented representatives from the BBGC with a ceremonial check on October 28, 2024.

Bristol Sports Hall of Fame provides grants to local 501(c3) organizations to support initiatives that honor, document and preserve distinctive contributions and achievements to the sports heritage of Bristol.
