Softball champions crowned in Park Department fall leagues

The City of Bristol Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services has announced the champions of its Fall softball leagues.

Team Bristol Polish Club ultimately took home the championship in the 2024 Men’s 40-and-Over Fall Softball League, while Team Redman’s swept the 2024 Co-Ed Fall Softball League to be named champions.

After finishing the regular season with a 17-1 record, the #1-seed Bristol Polish Club secured the league
championship with an undefeated playoff run, ultimately defeating Fancy Bagels in the championship
game.

Redman’s finished the regular season as the #1-seed after going undefeated with a 12-0 record.
The team continued their dominance with an undefeated playoff run, ultimately defeating Ohana in the
championship game.

“Both seasons went great! We had over 200 participants between the two leagues,” League Director
Shawn Mirmina said. “The leagues will continue to expand and we are looking forward to the Spring
season starting in April.”
