By David Fortier
Come Sunday morning, I continue on the road from recovering from a hip replacement on Thursday. I am on my feet, have had two physical therapy sessions and lots of naps. That’s between icing my hip and walking through the house with walker every 30 minutes or so.
It’s all been pretty amazing–that I came home the same day as the operation–really, I got in to the surgery center at 5:45 a.m. and I was home around 11 a.m.
What is better, though, is that my TBE buddies have picked up the workload like champs, so that TBE continues to put up new stories every day. There is nothing like being on a team–I am a fortunate guy, and I think Bristol is pretty fortunate to have these people continuing to provide community online news.

Not much more to report when it comes to listening and reading, since I have been napping most of the time. Of course, I have tried to keep up with the news stories about the upcoming administration and fallout from the election. Bernie Sanders has been on a few podcasts. One is “Bernie Sanders Interview | Lex Fridman #450.” Click here.
Otherwise, I try to read and end up dozing.
