The Bristol Fire Department responded to 73 incidents the week of Nov. 11, including the following:
- 13 unauthorized burning calls
- 7 good intent calls
- 6 each of the following: motor vehicles accidents without injury, lockouts
- 4 each of the following: motor vehicle accident with injuries, gas leak (natural gas or LPG), calls that were dispatched & canceled en route
- 3 each of the following: building fire, false alarm of false call, calls with no incident found on arrival at dispatch address.
- 2 each of the following: cooking fire, confined to container, hazardous conditions, powerlines down
1 each of the following: natural vegetation fire, trash or rubbish fires contained, unintentional transmission of alarm call, medical assists EMS crew, chimney or flue fire (confined to chimney or flue), extraction of victims from vehicle, emergency medical service incident, removal of victims from stalled elevator, electrical wiring/equipment problem, arcing, shorted electrical equipment, service call, smoke scare odor of smoke, HazMat release investigation w/no HazMat, system malfunction, alarm system sounded due to malfunction.
