The Bristol Public Library is welcoming readers aged 18 and over to participate in its annual Adult Winter Reading Program, which kicks off Dec. 1 , 2024 and runs through Feb. 28, 2025.
Designed to make reading and listening even more rewarding, this year’s program simplifies the process for entering raffle prize drawings, with weekly prizes, gift cards, and a grand prize available for participants.
The library is offering three easy ways for adults to earn raffle entries:
- Record Your Reading and Listening: For every book or audiobook you read or listen to, fill out a raffle slip and submit it at the library or online. Each item counts as a separate entry for the chance to win.
- Complete Special Missions: The library is offering a list of fun, optional activities, or “missions,” that participants can complete to earn extra entries into the raffle.
- Check Out DVDs: Simply check out DVDs from the library to earn additional entries.
The Winter Reading Program is a fun way for the community to come together during the colder months and enjoy books and media. The program is designed to be fun and flexible, offering participants the opportunity read, listen to audiobooks or watch films. There’s no limit to how many entries a participant can earn.
In addition to weekly raffles, the program will culminate in a grand prize drawing at the end of the season. To participate, simply pick up a raffle slip at the library or submit your entries online via the library’s website. Participants can also check out a list of missions and find additional details on the program’s webpage.
