The Bristol Fire Department responded to 68 incidents the week of Nov. 17, including the following:
- 8 Dispatched & canceled en route calls
- 6 each of the following: motor vehicles accidents without injury, unauthorized burning
- 5 good intent calls
- 4 each of the following: motor vehicle accident with injuries, power line down
- 3 each of the following: smoke scare odor of smoke, alarm system activation no fire (unintentional)
- 2 each of the following: oil or other combustible liquid spill, carbon monoxide incident, carbon monoxide detector activation (no CO)
- 1 each of the following: cooking fire (confined to container), brush or brush-and-grass mixture fire, excessive heat scorch burns with no ignition, lock in, removal of victims from stalled elevator, combustible/flammable gas/liquid condition, gas leak (natural gas or LPG), building or structure weakened or collapsed, vehicle accident general cleanup, cover assignment standby moveup, no incident found on arrival at dispatch address, malicious, mischievous false call, system malfunction, sprinkler activation due to malfunction, smoke detector activation due to malfunction, alarm system sounded due to malfunction, unintentional transmission of alarm, sprinkler activation no fire (unintentional)
