Emergency water down on Hull Street and surrounding areas today

Due to an emergency water main repair, water service will be temporarily shut off on Hull Street near East Road on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024. This disruption may affect surrounding areas, which could experience low water pressure or a complete loss of service.

Once the water is restored, customers may notice discolored water. If this occurs, it is recommended to run cold water from an outside faucet or the bathtub until the water clears.

A water filling station is available at the Water Filtration Plant for customers who experience an extended service interruption. The station operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and there is no charge for this service. Customers must bring their own containers, and Filtration Plant operators will assist in filling them.

The Water Filtration Plant is located at 1080 Terryville Avenue. For assistance, call (860) 583-6504. To avoid delays, customers are encouraged to call ahead of their arrival.
