With the holiday season upon us, Bristol residents can unleash their inner artist in a joyful, no-judgment zone at Creative Jam Art Co. that’s as vibrant as the season itself.
Located on Riverside Avenue, the studio offers a vibrant, joyful space to let your inner artist run wild.
Unlike traditional art classes, Creative Jam Art’s splatter painting sessions embrace the mess and the fun, allowing participants of all ages to unleash their creativity in a no-judgment zone. With splattered paint flying in every direction, it’s a dynamic experience that’s about more than just the final piece, it’s about letting loose and embracing the process.
As Connecticut’s largest splatter room, Creative Jam Art offers plenty of space for individuals or groups to enjoy a carefree, colorful experience. Splatter painting is a creative holiday gift experience that anyone can love. The 2000 sq. ft studio can accommodate multiple parties at once, making it perfect for friends, family, or even corporate outings.
It isn’t just about the artwork you take home. It’s about the process, the sheer joy of letting loose in a space designed for creativity and fun.” Creative Jam Art co-owner Marlo Marrero Fernandez said.
Whether you’re flinging neon paint under black lights in the Glow-in-the-Dark Splatter Room or crafting a bold, colorful canvas in the main studio, the staff at Jam Art work together to design experiences to inspire and delight participants of all ages.
From protective ponchos and gear to prepped paint stations, Creative Jam Art seeks to provide a safe environment for people to dive into the art of splattering without a care.
Fun for all ages
Creative Jam Art is open to anyone ages 5 and up, with appointments lasting up to 30 minutes for individuals or up to 2 hours for groups. When you arrive, the team will guide you through selecting your canvas and any fun add-ons, like paint-filled balloons or water squirters.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Pricing: Experiences range from $33 to $65, depending on canvas size, with private parties or group rates available.
- Protective gear: Each guest receives a “care package” that includes ponchos, gloves, and shoe covers to help you stay clean while you create.
- Add-ons: Personalize your session with extras like paint-filled water balloons, or even splatter on wearable white T-shirts that you can keep as a memento.
- Multiple creative options: Choose from a variety of projects including canvas paintings, splashing three-dimensional objects, or even creating wearable art.
To ensure a smooth experience, it’s recommended that guests arrive at least 15 minutes early for onboarding and checkout.
While Creative Jam Art provides protective gear, participants are encouraged to wear clothes they don’t mind getting messy.
