Wheeler recently celebrated the generosity and leadership of four donors at its 14th Annual Hands & Hearts event, held virtually on Dec. 12.

The event recognizes individuals, families, corporations, and foundations who have been instrumental in supporting Wheeler’s mission to provide equitable access to health care, recovery services, and growth at all stages of life.

“Each year, the number of families who need us grows,” said Sabrina Trocchi, PhD, MPA, president and chief executive officer for Wheeler. “Without the help of everyone we’ve recognized through this event, and all of our donors, we would not be able to meet the needs of the nearly 70,000 individuals we serve annually.”

Since its inception, the Hands & Hearts event has honored over 100 philanthropists. This year, the recipients were celebrated for their significant contributions to Wheeler’s work in supporting nearly 70,000 individuals annually across Connecticut.
