Bristol Weather

Today: Mostly cloudy with a high near 31 degrees. Northwest winds 14 to 19 mph with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Tonight: A slight chance of snow between 8 PM and 9 PM. Partly cloudy with a low near 21. Chance pf precipitation is 20%.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 32. West wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 19. Northwest wi 5 to 7 mph. 

Weather Around the Country

As winter begins to take the reins, a winter storm is expected for the country’s northern half this weekend. 

From Kansas to the East Coast, roughly 47 million Americans in 14 states, across 1,300 miles are under winter weather alerts. Virginia declared a state of emergency, on Friday.

Saturday, snow, rain, and an icy mix will make their way through the Plains 

Snow and ice are expected for the Ohio River Valley to the mid-Atlantic region, making travel hazardous by Sunda morning. 

In the south, high winds and possible tornadoes could develop Sunday as well. 

Washington D.C, commuters could be in for a tough time Monday with several inches of snow expected.

Meanwhile, Baltimore and Philadelphia could see 6 inches or more of snow.

Next week, temperatures in the Midwest and Northeast are expected to be 25-30 degrees below normal. Due to the windchill, temperatures could dip below zero in some areas.
