On Friday night, Bristol Central had a tough home matchup against East Hartford.
East Hartford took it to the Rams early, jumping out to a lead and holding onto it from there.
Despite the early deficit, Central was still was able to stay within striking distance. The Rams were only down eight points at halftime.
But East Hartford upped their defensive pressure in the second half, and Central had no answer.
Bristol Central struggled with the pressure throughout, which led to them losing 67-41.
Gavin Chamberlin led the way for Bristol Central with a season high of 17 points as well as grabbing 10 rebounds. Joey Pikiell chipped in with 9 points.
With the loss, Central drops to 2-4 for the season.
The Rams go on the road to take on Northwest Catholic tonight at 6:30.
