Angela Marie Caruso, 97, of Bristol passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 31. She was born in Bristol on April 18, 1927, the daughter of the late Chester and Mary Coppi.
Known as “Angie” to her friends and “Gram” to her family, Angie is best described as beautiful and kind. She greatly influenced her children and grandchildren throughout her life. Her Sunday pasta dinners, thoughtfulness and engaging smile is part of a legacy through her loving family.
Angie retired from Bristol Hospital as a Registered Nurse and was a devout member of St. Anthony Church.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Alexander Caruso and their children, Kathy (David) Preleski, Gail (Will) Rosshirt and Richard (Debra) Caruso; her grandchildren Lauren, Michael, Lindsay, Allison, Gregory, Steven, Laura and Thomas and her great grandchildren, Luca, Amelia, Liam, Ben, Josh, Samuel and Ellie.
She was predeceased by her sister Mary Ann Fusco.
All services were private.
