The Carousel Museum invites you to step back in time and uncover the fascinating history of one of Bristol’s most iconic locations at an upcoming lecture by Tom Vaughn, a distinguished historian and museum studies expert. The event will take place on Thursday, Jan. 9, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the museum, located at 95 Riverside Ave.
Vaughn, known for his deep knowledge of local history, will explore the transformation of the site from its industrial beginnings as part of the Bristol Manufacturing Co. to the beloved Carousel Museum of today. Drawing from years of research and his passion for preserving local history, Vaughn will provide a detailed account of how the site evolved over time and its significance to the Bristol community.
Attendees can enjoy a selection of fine wine and cheese while they listen to Vaughn’s lecture and explore the museum’s exhibits. The evening promises to be both an informative and nostalgic experience, offering a unique opportunity to connect with the community’s past. Admission to the event is $15, museum members will receive free admission.
