Barbara L. Olejarz, 81

Barbara L. Olejarz was born July 24, 1943, and lived most of her life in Bristol, Conn. She was predeceased by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Bartlett and her late husband Walter Olejarz. She is survived by her son Caoimhghin O’Suilleabhain and his partner Joseph LeDonne of Saugus, Mass., her brother Alan Bartlett and his wife Anne of Bristol, her sister Marilyn Popolizio of Amston, Conn., along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She worked for Aetna Life & Casualty for many years until retirement. An avid animal lover, she had many pets over the years who she loved very much. Barbara was also very involved with her church and enjoyed social events as well as volunteering with various worthy causes. She also enjoyed reading, traveling to exciting places and spending time with her family and friends who she loved very much. She will be greatly missed.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held on Monday, Jan. 13, at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol, starting at 11 a.m. until a funeral home service begins at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Peacedale Cemetery, 115 James Casey Rd., Bristol.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York NY 10016.
