Animal group offers reward for information about freezing death of cat near Rockwell Park

An animal advocacy group based in Winsted is offering a reward for anyone with information about the death of a cat left to freeze in a crate near Rockwell Park.

Desmond’s Army Animal Law Advocates posted on its Facebook page that it is “offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible for dumping an adult orange tabby cat who was found frozen to death in a blue and black crate near Rockwell Park the weekend of 12/28/24.”

The post directs anyone with information to call Bristol Animal Control at (860)584-3011.
