Library Coffee House features classic rock ‘n roll band this Saturday

The Library Coffee House will feature Refocus Band at the Bristol Public Library on Saturday, Jan. 18, from 2 to 3 p .m.

Refocus Band features a variety of musical genres, including classic rock ‘n roll from the 60s, 70s and 80s. RSVP at either bristollib.com, call (860) 584-7787, ext. 3 or visit the library. There is no charge for the event.

The afternoon movie this Thursday, Jan. 16, is “Coup!” featuring Peter Saarsgard, Billy Magnussen and Sarah Gaden. A class-war comedy, “Coup!” involves a mysterious stranger who joins the staff of a wealthy family and instigates a rebellion. There is no charge. Bristol’s libraries will be closed Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr., Day.

In addition, Bristol Public Library is now open on Sundays, from 1 to 5 p.m., through March 23.
