A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed additional illegal items, including ammunition, a large capacity magazine, and marijuana, which appeared to be packaged for sale.
Rodriguez, 28, was arrested and charged with stealing a firearm, improper storage of a pistol/revolver, illegal possession of a high-capacity magazine, carrying a pistol without a permit, possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), and failure to display lights.
