Central boys build up a big first half lead and hold on to defeat Rocky Hill, 45-38

 On Tuesday night, Bristol Central faced off against Rocky Hill in an away game. Both teams struggled offensively throughout the game. The Rams managed to create some separation in the first quarter, and they closed it out with a 10-4 lead.

Building on their defensive intensity, Central extended their lead by halftime, entering the break ahead 25-9.

While Bristol Central faced offensive challenges, their strong defense allowed them to maintain control of the game.

In the second half, Rocky Hill found their rhythm offensively and managed to cut the deficit to single digits. Despite a strong fourth quarter from Rocky Hill, Bristol Central held on to secure a 45-38 victory.

Returning from illness, Cody Roy provided a spark off the bench, contributing 11 points to the BC cause. Gavin Chamberlin also scored 11, while Joey Pikiell added 9 points. Quincy Lawson had a strong performance with 9 points and 11 rebounds.

The Rams improve to 3-7 on the season with this win.

Bristol Central’s next game is on Friday, where they will travel to face Berlin.
