The Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce and the Town of Thomaston’s Economic Development Commission have announced a new partnership, welcoming Thomaston into the Chamber’s growing network of regional businesses. The town becomes the seventh member of the Chamber, further expanding its influence in Central Connecticut.

“We are thrilled to welcome the Thomaston business community to our vibrant regional Chamber,” said Katie D’Agostino, CEO of the Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce. “Thomaston is a charming town with some amazing business leaders, and we look forward to supporting its businesses and helping them thrive. Together, we can build on Thomaston’s strengths and create new opportunities for economic success across the entire region.”

The Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce has been a key driver of economic growth in the region for over a century, offering members access to networking opportunities, advocacy, educational resources, and promotional support. With Thomaston’s inclusion, the Chamber strengthens its role as one of the largest and most influential business organizations in the state.

Thomaston, known for its historic character and tight-knit community, adds a unique energy to the Chamber’s network. The partnership will provide Thomaston’s businesses with access to a wide range of resources, including collaborations with businesses from six other towns, and beyond. The town’s rich history, from its Opera House to its many restaurants and manufacturing facilities, makes it an ideal addition to the Chamber’s diverse portfolio.

“We are excited to partner with the Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce to leverage the resources they can offer our local business community,” said Lissa Jennings, Chair of the Thomaston Economic Development Commission “We look forward to utilizing the networking opportunities to help our local businesses expand their reach and further their success.”

The Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce now represents businesses from seven towns: Bristol, Burlington, Farmington, Plainville, Plymouth, Thomaston, and Wolcott. This expansion is a testament to the Chamber’s commitment to fostering growth, collaboration, and economic success throughout the region.
