Bristol Eastern girls edge Berlin for first win of the young season

Bristol Eastern narrowly defeated Berlin 43-40 in a thrilling game decided in the final seconds. Autumn Udoh’s defensive prowess, including crucial blocks, helped secure the win after Cassie Sward’s layup provided a lead. Sward scored 17 points and the Lancers improved to 1-2, awaiting their next game on December 27.



Bristol Central boys lose basketball opener to Tolland

Tolland defeated Bristol Central 70-61 in a competitive season opener. Central led early but Tolland surged ahead by halftime. Despite closing the gap to two points in the fourth quarter, Central couldn’t secure a victory. Joey Pikiell scored 21 points for Central, while Cam Lumia led Tolland with 23 points.
