Council approves sale of alcohol at Rockwell Theater

The Bristol City Council approved an ordinance revision permitting alcohol sales at The Rockwell Theater, allowing discussions to proceed with the Board of Education. The council unanimously passed the revision while addressing related matters.









Carousel Museum to admit children for free in 2024

The Carousel Museum will offer free admission for children aged 12 and under in 2024, thanks to support from the Barnes Foundation. Education Manager Katie Bassett announced enhancements to the Tinker Workshop, featuring new interactive activities. The initiative aims to inspire creativity and promote STEAM learning for young visitors through hands-on experiences.



Impending adventure is open to all, offers interactive way to experience Bristol’s history and solve a mystery

The community is invited to participate in an immersive project exploring Bristol’s history over six months, beginning with an event on November 24. Participants will access online clues, podcasts, and gather outdoors to uncover stories. O’Brien, the project’s creator, aims to share Bristol’s narrative without bias towards individuals or families.
