Veterans’ program set Sunday, local NAACP to host ‘meet the candidates’ at Manross Library
On September 17, WWII veterans from Bristol, ranging from 98 to 105 years old, will be honored at an event in East Hartford. The American Legion will conduct a ceremony, including a quilt presentation. Additionally, the NAACP will host a candidate meeting on October 3, and the Connecticut Energy Assistance Program is now accepting applications.
