Gov. Lamont invokes state’s cold weather protocol this afternoon through Monday

Connecticut’s severe cold weather protocol began at 3 p.m. today, lasting until noon on January 22. It aims to protect vulnerable populations by facilitating shelter access through coordination with United Way 2-1-1. Designated warming centers are open in Bristol for both daytime and overnight use. Citizens in need should call 2-1-1 for assistance.
