Water dept. continues flushing program
The Bristol Water Department continues with its “flushing hydrants” program this week. Tuesday, the following areas were affected: Boardman St., Collins Rd, Stafford Ave., Bel-Air Dr., Jewel St., Milton Rd., Hotchkiss Dr., Westwood Ter., Seminary St., Camp St., Constance Ln., French St., Mark St., Paul St., Burton St. and surrounding streets.
Wednesday through Friday, the areas near Duncan St., O’Sullivan Dr., Pheasant Run Rd., Kozani St., Beths Ave., Anthony Dr., Vera Rd., Mt. View Ave. and Elizabeth Rd. will be impacted.
Flushing results in low water pressure and discolored water. The water dept. recommends residents refrain from washing clothes during this period.
